I offer a safe, supportive, non-judgmental and confidential supervision space to qualified Educational Psychologists and Senior Leaders in education. During the past twenty years, I have completed additional supervision training with the British Psychological Society, Joyce Scaife and Dr Linda Charles. I am an active listener and am passionate about supervision, I believe it is essential for ongoing professional development.
I offer blocks of supervision tailored to meet individual needs. During initial discussions, we will talk about what you need from supervision and you will have the opportunity, to reflect upon supervision approaches and frameworks you have previously found helpful or unhelpful. We will have initial contracting discussions and plan how to review our supervisory relationship.
What do people say about my supervision?
Assistant Educational Psychologist
Max is a fabulous practioner and person. She is warm, empathetic and caring which goes a long way in this field of work. She is innovative and willing to take on new learning and challenges with a smile…. As a supervisor, Max offered warm safe spaces for growth and development. Her ability to offer holistic advice supported my growth and confidence as a person and a practioner. She can bring humanistic elements into coaching, as well as demonstrating models/frameworks. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Max as a coach, colleague and practioner.
Educational Psychologist
Max is supporting me to develop as an EP through providing a safe and reflective space, and by gently questioning my thinking and practice.
Educational Psychologist
Max is my professional secure base; I feel empowered to explore and develop my EP practice knowing I’ve got a safe reflective space to come back to.
When supervising, I provide:
- the opportunity to discuss ethical issues
- a safe reflective space
- a restorative space to rest and refuel
- a place for professional and personal learning
- a space to notice positives and celebrate
